Abstract

The paper represents a project realized within the consultancy services provided at the PALESTRA, spol. S r.o. The project focuses on supporting the study in first year students.students. The default factor for this project is the long-term experience of author with inefficient using of the correct methods of learning. The students often dont know, how to use the effective way of learning and which learning style they prefer.
The project is based on a simple diagnostics of learning style that can be used by the specialists without psychological education. The students receive the informations about their learning style, in group work and model situations look for similarities and differencies, that are characteristic for specific learning style. They also learn the principles and techniques of effective study.
The project is used as a primary prevention of study failure of university students.
