The covidu-19 pandemic, which has been with us for the second year in a row, has taken the company by surprise. We were not prepared for anything like that. The pandemic affected all areas of society. Industry, agriculture and services were paralyzed. This paper focused on how the field of education was affected. The pandemic changed all areas from preschool to university education. For a comprehensive and more objective view, various research probes and surveys have been, are and will certainly be implemented. Different methodologies were used. The research was of different scope, different levels. We encounter quantitative studies and qualitative approaches. The content of the presented paper is information about the pandemic, including a description of the situation on a global scale. Some statistical data are given. Some surveys related to this phenomenon in schools, including university education, are also mentioned. The author's own observations are also attached. She summarized how she herself was affected by a pandemic in the university teaching profession.
